LiveO2(R) Adaptive Contrast(R) Extreme System

This is the most advanced and versatile Adaptive Contrast Oxygen Training System in the world and it is ideal for more advanced level users or those looking for a system that will grow with them as they increase their fitness and overall health levels. Unlike the other systems, LiveO2’s Adaptive Contrast (AC) Extreme Oxygen Training System allows users to easily adjust the high-altitude or hypoxic oxygen levels between 10,000ft elevation (~14.3% O2) and approximately 22,000ft elevation (~9% O2). It is important to note, that this system is designed for intermediate to advanced users, but it can also be used by beginners if they adjust the altitude/hypoxic O2 output to lower levels. This system comes standard with one Premium Mask (value of $240) as well as one Standard Mask (value of $75). Please specify the size Premium Mask you’d like during checkout.

The Extreme system leverages the same size reservoir used in the LiveO2 AC Extra Large System which means the high-altitude/hypoxic reservoir chamber is approximately 5X larger than the normal hypoxic reservoir found in the Standard system, which makes it more accommodating to higher-level users. Like all Adaptive Contrast Oxygen Training Systems from LiveO2, this system allows users to easily flip between high-altitude/hypoxic training environments to oxygen-rich (~4X sea level) training environments with ease. It is important to note that LiveO2’s Adaptive Contrast Systems do not cause the same “altitude sickness” symptoms that some people might experience when traveling to high altitude environments in person because LiveO2 users are only breathing the high-altitude air vs living in and around it (which causes increased pressure on our body and cells and can cause some people to experience negative symptoms).

Adaptive Contrast Technology
Patented Adaptive Contrast (AC) technology gives you access to both oxygen concentrated air at ~4x sea level and oxygen depleted (hypoxic) air set to ~13% or 12,000ft on standard systems and between ~9% - ~14.3% with the Extreme System.

By training with oxygen-depleted air your cells quickly create an increased demand for oxygen which helps to expand the body’s vascular system while also increasing respiratory rate with much less effort than typical exercise requires. When you flip the switch back to higher oxygen air, your cells have the chance to absorb more oxygen. The process of going back and forth between the two during sessions creates a pump-effect inside your body that helps to increase the health, fitness, and recovery benefits of each session far beyond what we can achieve on our own in typical, non-contrasting environments that we live in on a day-to-day basis.

System Specifications
The LiveO2 Adaptive Contrast Extreme System takes up the same footprint as LiveO2’s Standard system and is upgradable to the 20LPM (liters per minute) that comes with two Oxygen separators vs one and fills the ~4x oxygen-rich reservoir in approximately 20-30 minutes vs the single 10LPM system that fills the reservoir in approximately 45-60 minutes.

Size:

  • Reservoir Height = 8ft, 3in
  • Reservoir Width with stand = 5ft
  • Reservoir Depth = 3ft
  • Oxygen Reservoir Frame System = 8ft, 6in high x 5ft wide
  • Air Separator = 30” high x 15” wide x 17” deep
  • Approximate total space needed (without exercise equipment) = approximately 10’ x 7’x 1’
  • Allow additional floor space for exercise equipment.
  • Power supply = 120V / 60HZ

Reservoir Design
The LiveO2 reservoirs are designed with special liner materials. LiveO2 uses the lowest VOC materials in the design of the reservoir. This ensures that the air you are breathing is as clean as possible. The outside of the reservoir is durable and high-quality material that is designed to last for years. They are designed and made in the United States.  All tubing is silicone.
