Phase 1 | Red Light Therapy + Micro-Impact Technology

Wake up your cells. Ground your body.

Every Current session begins with The Sunrise, a gentle first phase that prepares you for what follows. Stand barefoot on the Juvent Micro Impact Platform while red and near infrared light surrounds you. There is no workout to perform: stand, breathe and settle in.

Think of it as two familiar signals working together: light from above and input from the ground below.

Light from above.

Red and near infrared light therapy, also called photobiomodulation, uses particular wavelengths that interact with tissue. One studied mechanism involves cytochrome c oxidase in mitochondria, where light can influence cellular signaling and energy production. The effects depend on wavelength, dose and tissue, so the experience is best understood as a supportive stimulus rather than a guaranteed outcome.

Researchers study photobiomodulation for skin, tissue health and exercise recovery. The evidence differs by application, especially when whole body exposure is compared with targeted treatment.

Input from below.

Juvent provides tiny, rapid mechanical signals through your feet. Its published operating range is about 0.3 to 0.4 g at 32 to 37 Hz, with movement of roughly 0.05 mm. It feels very different from the large movement of many gym vibration platforms.

Walking also sends mechanical signals through the skeleton. Juvent offers a gentle, passive version of that input while you stand still.

Why we pair them.

Light supplies a photonic signal and Juvent supplies a mechanical one. Together, they make The Sunrise an easy, low effort transition into the more active work of The Cloud. Potential areas of interest include cellular signaling, tissue health, mobility and musculoskeletal wellness; individual results vary.

Stand. Breathe. Let the session begin.
